Liturgy Committee
Liturgy is integral to our spiritual life at St. Mary’s, as it is to that of most Episcopal churches. The rector takes ultimate responsibility for planning and executing our services. However, the Liturgy Committee gives the clergy advice and counsel on issues relevant to the services and serves as a sounding board for comments, compliments, complaints, and questions from members of the parish.
The Liturgy Committee includes the clergy, the Minister Music, and representatives from the altar guild, ushers, lay readers, lay eucharistic ministers, and healing ministry. We encourage parishioners to make their thoughts known to the liturgy committee by talking with a member of the committee or via the Let’s Talk boxes located outside the main office and at the entrance to the church.
The Liturgy Committee meets as needed.
